Guest Speaker: Christian Redl
Christian Redl originates from Austria. He does not describe himself as a security expert, or Hacker, per se, but a computer programmer. However, back in Austria he worked for 5 years for a Bank in "de-centralised systems” with responsibility for most of the backend and network protocols. Because of this he received quite a lot of security training, how to use encryption properly, etc., giving him a healthy interest in hacking and computer security.
In introducing the film “Wargames” Christian intends to talk briefly on the history of hacking, how it has changed, the motivations of hackers, and importance of security.
